What holds Pearl Wealth together? Gretchen. Why? Because she does it all, and she does it with grace. Gretchen is here to answer your call, answer your questions, and find answers to the problems that might come up. She’ll make sure you are completely taken care of by using her head for business and her heart for relationships. Get ready to really like her.
At the top of Gretchen’s personal list of lifetime achievements is her time spent on teams—from organized sports to groups of friends, to family and work. In fact, if a group of people are gathered, Gretchen will gracefully take charge and before you know it, she’ll have formed a cohesive team. It is her leadership that impresses us, and her ability to stay likeable that inspires us to always be a better human.
Professionally, Gretchen began her career in 2000 working with clients at Columbia Funds and quickly realized that helping clients accomplish their financial goals was as rewarding to her as scoring a goal or hitting a home run. She transitioned to working directly with individuals and families in 2001, and officially re-settled in Portland in 2004 after her husband surprised her with the decision to take over her parents family business.
Gretchen’s work with clients has ranged from individual investors to high net worth families—from answering questions about small purchases to how to rent an airplane. Every relationship and situation has been a learning experience and Gretchen has thrived on the challenges of problem solving, efficiency, and adding a bit of levity to even the most difficult of projects.
Gretchen is constantly in motion as she tries to keep up with her boys and husband. As a family, they participate in no less than five teams at a time. They cheer on the Portland Thorns, Timbers and Trailblazers, and are slowly adding to their collection of countries visited as a family.
